Who am I?

I am absolutely awful at introducing myself but here goes…

I’m currently a 22 year old male from England, who is guilty of being a little opinionated from time to time. I am here to share my thoughts on just about anything, whether it is something I’m passionate about or whether or not it grinds my gears! Some of the things I will talk about will involve my hobbies which include music and sport. I’m at University studying to become a Physical Education teacher at the moment. Therefore expect some University related articles to help you to survive your studies!

This is my first shot at setting up a blog but its an idea I’ve been contemplating for a while. Despite the shocking sporty pun, this blog will not be exclusively sport content, instead catering for anything I fancy discussing. Although my username does originate from former footballer Martin Laursen who played for my favourite football team Aston Villa. I’m an avid football fan all the way up from Sunday League and Non-League, so expect to hear stories of away days and big clashes!

Throughout this blog I will be open and honest as I can be, as I document my personal experiences and struggles. One huge aspect of my personality and life is living with autism, which brings an interesting journey that I hope you will take with me.

Please do tell your family and friends about my new adventure. It is something I’m excited about and would love to share to a wider audience.

Thank you for reading.

P.S. My Twitter is @sleeeponit if you ever want to get in contact for whatever reason, such as topic ideas or tips you’d like me to discuss.

  1. Hey, my name is Cameron, and I am a 23 year old based in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s great to meet you, and I look forward to reading the variety of content that you will be publishing on here. I am especially interested in sports, so that’s probably what I will typically be reading. I’ve also given you a follow on Twitter, so I’ll be keeping tabs with you on there as well.

Wishing you the best. I look forward to seeing more posts on here.

  3. Wow. Congrats. I honestly envy you. When I was your age, I used to fantisize about having a blog and some online stuff. But I never made the step. You have made the step in the right direction. Wish you all the best in this journey.

It’s a journey that require discipline and consistency. Lucky your natural writing is excellent. You seem to effortlessly grab the reader’s attention.

Plus, am interested in follow your autism side of the story. I have just shared the blog with an inlaw who has autism. And she loves the blog already.

  4. England is a great place to live from what I hear. I’ve always been interesting in the Royal Family. I was always wanting to learn more about the King when he was alive. Your blog is a really great one. The fact that you like helping people is the best part about it. I can see that with mental health areas on the blog that you really care about how people are feeling on the inside. Good luck with everything.

  6. I’m Ash and I’m from London, United Kingdom. I’m at university as well, studying Computer Science. Huge football fan as well but I support Chelsea FC. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know much about autism until quite recently when I watched a show called Atypical on Netflix. Loved it and I’m hoping the new season isn’t too far off.

Looking forward to more of your posts 🙂

    1. Hi. Thank you for your introduction. I hope we can get along even though you’re a Chelsea fan. 😉 It seems that my team Aston Villa play against you this week. I am excited for the match.

      Enjoy reading 🙂

  8. Hey. I’m known as _B_ but use bdon33 as it is my gamers name. I see you are an Aston Villa fan. Unfortunately, I can’t share that same interest as I am a Chelsea fan and will always be one lol.

I am looking forward to reading some of your university articles as I am hoping to go in September to study Economics (well let’s see if results day in August goes in my favour). I would love to see what other people’s experiences are for university.

Good luck with your future plans in becoming a PE teacher :). Looking forward to reading more on this blog.

  9. Hi, I’m empire and rather not say my real name (please beware and understand) online but can say that I’m originally from Australia living in the United kingdom and nice to meet you. As such, I’m not a sports person nor do I plays sports-related, yet I do enjoy cooking and being in the hospitality industry 🙂

Most people are not even aware of who I am and what I really got, but if you noticed then maybe think outside of the box and read some great blogs here under autism. I can differently feel respect and understand how it feels at times.
